World 6 Collectibles

This level requires you have a source of red, blue, and green in the area. If you're struggling to find some, I've got you covered with this awesome artwork. Since it's a bit large, go to this link to access it.

Collectible 1/3
(5 to the right of initial area)

Hold Square and keep focusing on just a red color until the first platform goes all the way down, then focus on just a green color until the middle platform goes all the way up, then focus on just a blue color until the right platform goes all the way down. By then, everything should be in place for the collectible to show up.

Collectible 2/3
(10 to the right of initial area)

The way this puzzle works is: pressing O summons a rolling enemy, firing a shot that doesn't hit an enemy makes the horizontal platform move, and hitting an enemy makes the right platform move. The left platform depends on how many enemies are on the screen.

To unlock the collectible, start by firing 3 shots to orient the horizontal platform properly. Then start pressing O to summon enemies and shoot each one ONCE before they fall off the platform. Once you've shot 4 enemies once and have 5 enemies on the screen, the collectible will show up.
To obtain it, reset the puzzle with Triangle, press O to summon an enemy, then kill it. Fall down and activate the ring beside the platform. Keep shooting to fully extend the horizontal platform, then press O to warp. Activate the ring to the very right, then just keeping using O to raise the left column to 4/5 so you can reach the collectible.

Collectible 3/3
(13 to the right of initial area, the very last area)

Start by jumping twice to summon two enemies, then go to where they're at and hit each of them once. Don't kill them otherwise you'll have to restart. Press O twice and fire 5 shots to unlock the final collectible! Enjoy your gold trophy!

World 5 Collectibles

Collectible 1/3
(4 to the right of initial area)

Our goal here is to get the blue platform to 100% while keeping the orange one at 0%.

First, tag the checkpoint on the orange platform. Now keep moving exclusively left and using O to reset your position while still staying on the orange platform. Under no circumstances should you move or press right, as that will move the orange platform. Keep doing this until the blue platform reaches 100%, which will unlock the collectible. If the orange platform goes above 1% you'll have to restart using Triangle.

To sum it up, move left, press O, repeat until collectible pops.

Collectible 2/3
(7 to the right of initial area)\

The puzzle looks like this. Lots of things to be done here, although it may not immediately be obvious.

You'll have to do several things here.
1, Touch the rolling enemy once.
2. Fall into the pit twice
3. Let the orange pillar crush you 3 times (stand under it and keep firing).
4. Press O 4 times.
5. Shoot 5 times.

The collectible will then be revealed, and you can just press O or Triangle to reset everything so you can grab it.

What it should look like once you're done.

Collectible 3/3
(11 to the right of initial area)

You start here. Our target platforms are waaaay over to the right.

Like the last one, this requires doing different things.
1. Hit the rolling enemy twice.
2. Activate the checkpoint that isn't currently active with O.
3. Jump 3 times (if you mess this up you can reset with O).
What the blocks should look like when you're done.

World 4 Collectibles

This is the most annoying world. It makes heavy use of the tilt function. Prepare to literally spin your Vita. A lot.

Collectible 1/3
(2 to the right of initial area)

Annoying one. Tilt your Vita until the floating platform is at X=50, then keep tapping the touch screen until the block on the left wall goes all the way to the left, then jump and drop down into the gap that was created when the left block moved. The collectible should unlock once you land.

Drop as shown in the picture, while continuously firing. Oh, and make sure that floating block stays at X=50/51
If all goes well, the prize awaits you when you land.
Collectible 2/3
(5 to the right of initial area)

Drop into the pit 3 times, then jump and land on solid ground 9 times. Pretty self-explanatory. Collectible appears at the bottom.
At least you don't have to use the tilt function this time.

Collectible 3/3
(9 to the right of initial area)

This is the very last puzzle for this world. This involves getting the first 3 pillars to 0% and the last 2 pillars to 100%. The biggest obstacle will be getting the middle pillar to 0%. The rest are not that bad. Hold your Vita in such a way that the screen is in front of you, as if you were watching TV. Now turn counterclockwise while still holding the Vita the same way. This should drop the middle pillar to 0%. Now tilt the Vita so that the top part of the Vita is more in front of you, then tilt the Vita to the left. This should bring the other pillars to the needed positions.

Try demonstrating to a friend how to get this one, I dare you ;)

World 3 Collectibles

Collectible 1/3
(2 to the right of initial area)

Destroy one of the pinwheel enemies, then fire two shots anywhere, but DON'T destroy another enemy or you'll have to restart.

Collectible 2/3
(7 to the right of initial area)

From the checkpoint, jump and fall all the way down to the 0/4 platform. Now keep jumping until the X= platform reaches X=56. Now destroy the two pinwheel baddies using your directional shots to reveal the collectible.

The middle platform is at X=56. Now all you have to do is destroy the enemies and the collectible will show itself.

The aftermath
To get it, just use O to reset the puzzle and ride the X= platform until you can reach it.

Collectible 3/3
(11 to the right of initial area)

Your starting point

From the rightmost checkpoint. move left and press O on the middle checkpoint. Jump to the leftmost checkpoint and activate that with O. Now go back to the right and activate the middle and right checkpoints to reveal the collectible. Don't make any unnecessary jumps as you'll have to start over if you do. You'll need to do this in only 6 jumps.

If you did everything correctly, you should end up back at the checkpoint you started at.
To get it, just follow the normal procedure to get through this puzzle.

World 2 Collectibles

World 2

Collectible 1/3
(2 to the right of the initial area)

Your first collectible is on this screen.

Really easy, just jump once, then keep walking back and forth until the pillar on the right is at 0%.

Collectible 2/3
(5 to the right of the initial area)

The second collectible is in this area with 3 columns.

The trick to this one is to get on the middle platform, then just keep jumping in place until all the platforms are in position.

Collectible 3/3
(8 to the right of the initial area)

This time we have to deal with 5 things.
The two dark vertical columns fall automatically but are reset when you press O. The light colored column lowers when you go left. The left platform expands when you jump and the right platform expands by 50% when you press O. Both horizontal platforms are lowered by 50% when you fall into the pit.

This one's a bit tricky to figure out. Start by moving to the left to lower the grounded column to 0%. You'll then want to keep jumping and pressing O. Eventually, you'll end up with this setup.
Just a couple more things to do once you get to this point.
Once you've gotten the above configuration, fall into the pit. The two vertical columns will then start falling. You need to time a jump so that the left platform will move just as the two vertical columns line up. If all goes well, everything will line up perfectly and the collectible will now be visible. Otherwise, get back to the above setup and repeat until successful.

A successful attempt. Note the dashed lines.
And that's that for World 2.

World 1 Collectibles

Note: Below the collectible number, I will have the specific area the collectible is found in. To make use of it, on the stage select screen, tap the stage area, then press right on the D-Pad the indicated number of times, then X to start the stage. For world 6, you need to select another world first, then select world 6.

Collectible 1/3
(1 to the right of the initial area)

This one is found after the part where you pass the stairs.

You'll come across this area with 4 platforms
The triggers for moving these platforms are jumping, and walking left/right
Stand on the darker platforms, and keep jumping until two of the platforms are at 100% and the other two are at 0%, as shown below.
Now, carefully move left and right until all the platforms are at 50%. Once this is done, the collectible will emerge. Note that moving left will make only the two left platforms move and moving right will make only the two right platforms move.

Once the four platforms are centered, the first collectible appears!

Collectible 2/3
(5 to the right of the initial area)

The second collectible is found at the area with a tall pillar and a triangle with a platform on it
The pillar lowers by jumping and rises by walking left/right. The platform on the triangle moves right when you walk left/right, and lowers when you land on ground. It automatically moves left.

Start jumping until the pillar reaches 0% and the triangle platform is at the very left, as shown below.

Now, keep walking left/right and the pillar and platform should align perfectly, causing the collectible to materialize.

Collectible 3/3
(8 to the right of the initial area)

The last collectible is at the final puzzle for this world.

Here, the middle and left platforms lower when you move left. The left platform moves up when you move right, and the right platform moves up when you jump.
To get this collectible, you'll want to get the platforms in this order: middle, left, right. Start by going all the way to the right as shown above, then move all the way left (don't jump while doing this). Head right again and carefully move left until the middle platform is in position. After that, move right carefully until the left platform is in place, then jump 3 times to get the right platform in, and the collectible should appear.

Metrico Collectibles - What you need to know

About the Collectibles
You probably won't realize it when you play the game at first (unless you've looked at the trophy list beforehand), but there are collectibles in this game! They all take the form of a pie chart.

Each world has 3 collectibles, for a total of 18. You can actually check your progress on the stage select screen.

See those 3 brown dots on the upper right? That keeps track of the collectibles you've gotten so far. If one of the circles appears dim, you're missing that collectible.
Now, the question is, how do we find these collectibles? All of them are actually hidden in certain puzzles, and they're all unlocked the same way. To unlock a collectible, you'll need to position all the movable objects in a certain way. For each properly positioned object, a piece of the collectible will be revealed and when all of them are positioned correctly, the collectible will materialize and be ripe for the taking.

You'll know that objects are in the right position when you see a dashed line appear over it. The good news is, once the collectible has revealed itself, it will stay that way. Moving anything out of position or restarting the puzzle will not make it go away.

An example of properly positioned platforms that make the collectible (3-part circle in the picture) appear. Note the dashed lines on the three platforms, indicating they're in the correct position.
And that's pretty much all the basics you need to know about them. Consult the other sections in the walkthrough for step-by-step directions on getting them.

One last thing. This game has a stage select. Not only that, you can also skip to a specific puzzle if you so choose. This means you don't have to replay the stage in its entirety for the collectibles.
